Eric Myers has joined the team at ELCO Mutual Life and Annuity as its General Counsel.
Eric received his JD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law after his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was a law clerk for Judge Deborah Eyler of the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland. He started his insurance law background at Baltimore law firms assisting insurance companies in commercial litigation and employment law. He served Aetna as senior litigation counsel and was their chief of staff for law and regulatory affairs. Eric then became deputy general counsel for AIG’s life, health and disability business. Most recently, he served BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee as its deputy general counsel of operations.
Eric’s considerable experience in litigation, product development, regulatory affairs, corporate governance and enterprise risk management made him the ideal candidate to advise senior management as ELCO’s General Counsel. ELCO is extremely pleased to welcome Eric to its team.
