Aureus Analytics Announces DONNA 2.0

Developed with leading insurance industry experts, DONNA was explicitly designed for independent agencies and brokers to improve their policyholders' experience

Hartford, CT | October 22, 2020

Aureus Analytics announced several industry-first functionalities included in its second major release of DONNA at the ITC Global 2020 virtual conference held from October 19th – 21st.

Developed with leading insurance industry experts, DONNA was explicitly designed for independent agencies and brokers to improve their policyholders’ experience. The SaaS-based AI and Data Analytics platform leverages machine learning, natural language processing, and natural language generation to measure customer sentiment during the customer journey and predict future outcomes.

Foresight as a business tool is an outcome of extensive research from insurance business research and technology teams. Foresight aims to provide planning and scenario simulation tools on a simple, intuitive, and user-friendly user interface,” said Nitin Purohit, Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer of Aureus Analytics.

Aureus announced the following new functionality of DONNA at ITC Global 2020:

Foresight – a business forecast and simulations widget used to produce business forecasts and model future business scenarios, allowing agents to plan and implement strategies to impact business results positively.

The business forecast widget analyzes an agency’s past business performance and uses its unique data to automatically generate business forecasts for agencies and brokers that include projected:

  • Rolling Renewal Premium
  • New Business Premium
  • Cancellation Loss
  • Non-Renewal Loss

Using the scenario simulation widget, independent agencies can explore the impact of various business initiatives by altering their model to consider multiple future scenarios and understand their impact on business performance. The model can be modified to consider higher new business premiums, non-renewal premiums, or cancellations. Users can also start from scratch to develop custom models.

Industry Benchmarking – V2.0 of DONNA now provides independent agencies and brokers the ability to compare their organization with industry peers in real-time across several key performance indicators:

  • Customer experience metrics like SentiMeter®
  • Policies per customer
  • Written premium per customer
  • Customer tenure, policy counts, top carriers

Data Enrichment Portal – Enables organizations to quickly identify, analyze, and sort customers for whom DONNA has added new information making it quicker and easier to identify opportunities to sell more policies and improve client experience. Agents and brokers can also track and analyze data enrichments, including consumer, property, and demographics data on a high level across geographies.
