U.S. RE Appoints John Przedpelski Executive Vice President and Chief Operation Officer

 

Pearl River, N.Y. – June 12th, 2013 — Mr. Tal Piccione, President, U.S. RE Companies, Inc. today announced the appointment of John Przedpelski, to serve as Executive Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer of U.S. RE Companies, Inc.

According to Mr. Piccione, the addition of Mr. Przedpelski marks a significant advancement for U.S. RE Companies, Inc. as it plots its expansion internationally and in core market sectors in the United States: “John Przedpelski brings over more than twenty-five years of experience in the insurance industry, most recently as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of LIG Insurance Company’s U.S. Branch, which he helped build from a $15M insurance operation to a $150M insurer in the commercial P&C area. He brings great talent to the role of C.O.O. and we welcome him enthusiastically.”

Mr. Przedpelski, who was named Insurance Executive of the Year in 2011, by the Professional Insurance Agents Association of New York, was also responsible for building an in-house MGA and Claims TPA operation that grew rapidly for LIG especially in the service of Asian American communities across the U.S. commercial insurance market.

Prior to LIG Insurance Co., Mr. Przedpelski was President of the Insurance Division of CARCO Group where he implemented comprehensive internal fraud detection processes for personal lines insurance carriers, establishing, as well, a centralized state-of-the-art call center to facilitate communications and promote rapid growth.

Before joining CARCO, John served as Allianz/Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company’s Vice President, Regional Executive of the Mid-Atlantic territory during which time he managed a $350 million all-lines property & casualty insurance business, involving commercial lines, personal lines and specialty lines while being responsible for the P & L.

Mr. Przedpelski was Managing Director of FSL Group (Royal & Sun Alliance) from 1999-2002 and served in a number of management roles over his ten year tenure with Royal. John also spent six years at Crum & Forster Commercial Insurance and one year with Mass Mutual Insurance Company as a Series-7 licensed Stock Broker.

Mr. Przedpelski earned his Masters in Business Administration from FW Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College in Boston and holds a BA from the University of Richmond.
