PRI Sets 2014 Breakfast Series for Healthcare Leaders and Risk Management Professionals

First seminar scheduled for Thursday, February 13th 2014 in Roslyn, LI

Roslyn, NY - January 17, 2014 - Physicians’ Reciprocal Insurers (PRI) is pleased to announce the first in a series of three educational Breakfast Symposia featuring thought leaders from several sectors of the healthcare and medical profession.

PRI is among the nation’s largest insurers of medical professional and hospital and healthcare facilities’ liability and excess insurance and is an award winning leader in risk management in the field.

The 2014 Series, to be held at the Company’s Roslyn, Long Island office, will focus upon the implications of health care reform, trends among health care providers and the outlook for patient centered care.

Additional topics are being developed, according to Jeanne Braun, Executive Vice President, Department of Hospitals and Special Programs: “PRI continues to stay out front on issues related to the evolving dynamics in healthcare. Our clients are thirsty for thought leadership and we are glad to sponsor seminars that foster discussion and drive change.” PRI’s 2014 Educational Series starts on Thursday, February 13th with breakfast at 8:00 a.m. with “Current Perspectives on Managed Care and Health Care Reform”, led by David Florman, MBA, Florman Tannen LLC, the health care consulting firm, together with Nathan Boucher, Director of Graduate Education and Assistant Professor at Touro College, who will discuss current industry trends and issues affecting the health care provider community, patient-centered care and implications for the future. The conference will conclude at 11:00 a.m.
