National Life Group Promotes Three To Senior Vice President
Montpelier, Vermont – Three key executives at National Life Group responsible for overseeing the company’s network of agents were promoted to senior vice presidents.
CEO Mehran Assadi announced the promotions of Pam Blalock to senior vice president, career distribution; and Louis Puglisi and Matt DeSantos to senior vice president, independent distribution.
Assadi said the promotions reflect the company’s commitment to a diversified distribution network of career and independent agents.
“The success of National Life Group depends on our ability to grow and sustain a strong distribution system,” Assadi said. “Our distribution channels are more robust, more diversified and more effective than at any time in the company’s recent history, and our results show it.”
Blalock joined National Life Group in 2012 as a vice president and regional distribution officer, career distribution. She worked previously for MONY before joining New England Mutual, where she was divisional vice president for the eastern U.S. for New England Financial.
Puglisi has been at National Life Group since 2005 in distribution leadership. He began his career at Penn Mutual and then moved to Provident Mutual, which was acquired by Nationwide, and worked there in senior roles in business development and advanced marketing.
DeSantos also came to National Life Group in 2005 and served as vice president of marketing before taking the new position of vice president of strategic accounts and business development. He previously held a variety of positions at Nationwide Financial Services, Provident Mutual, the AIG Life Companies, MetLife and Prudential
