Dates and Agenda Set for SurePower User Group Meeting
Collaboration and peer exchange between ISCS, industry expert speakers and insurer users will open discussion of new ideas and solutions.
San Jose, CA – August 1, 2013 – Insurance solutions developer ISCS, creator of the SurePower Innovation® Policy Administration Suite (SurePower), has finalized the program schedule and set dates for the annual SurePower User Group (SPUG) Conference. Registration is now open for the October 21-23 program, which will be held at the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, Calif.
“SurePower’s users have a great breadth of experience with the solution,” said ISCS founder and president Andy Scurto, “Based on lines of business written, states covered and company-specific strategic business goals, ISCS customers are all utilizing functionality within SurePower differently. By enabling conversations between industry experts and users, new ideas and solutions are brought to light and brought to life.”
The SPUG Conference gives current and future SurePower users an opportunity to hear from industry experts, learn firsthand about ISCS’s newest offerings and influence product development. It is also a great opportunity to network with peers, and discuss how others are addressing similar challenges.
Highlights of the agenda include:
• Benchmarks in New Product Development: Strategy Meets Action (SMA) recently conducted a study benchmarking the time, resources and processes for product changes and new product development. SMA partner Karen Furtado will present results so attendees can evaluate how they stack up.
• Big Data: Novarica’s managing director, Chad Hersh, and Doug Moore, VP and CTO of ISCS, share what insurers are doing with new opportunities in data, as well as sharing a vision for the future of unstructured data and analytics.
• Portals & Mobile: Attendees will find out what’s new in this emerging arena as ISCS leaders reveal recent developments in portal functionality and mobile capabilities.
• Discussion Sessions: Best practices surrounding the industry’s latest trends will be explored during interactive discussions on underwriting, claims and billing, cloud computing, implementation best practices, workflows, upgrades, and reporting.
In addition to scheduled sessions, networking opportunities are included throughout each day, and lunches offer tables marked by roles, such as claims, underwriting, IT and project management, to encourage discussion with colleagues at other companies that share interests. Full details and registration information can be found on the ISCS website.
