XL Catlin Appoints Ronnell Agatep as Global Head of Underwriting, Retail Accident and Health Insurance

NEW YORK, Sept. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Ronnell Agatep has joined XL Catlin's global retail Accident & Health (A&H) insurance business as its Global Head of Underwriting.  Based in New York, Mr. Agatep assumes this newly created role to drive product development and underwriting guidelines for XL Catlin's newly launched retail A&H business unit, and reports to Patrick Corbett, Global Chief Underwriting Officer, Retail A&H.

Mr. Agatep joins XL Catlin from Liberty Mutual where he served as Senior Vice President of Global A&H. During his 25-year career, he has held senior A&H management and underwriting positions in the US, UK, South Africa and the United Arab Emirates.   He is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island.
