Obamacare Is Collapsing

"Why does this need to happen" Why are we doing this" Why are we moving so quickly" Obamacare is failing. So, if someone's listening and they didn't disagree with the law, or they like [their] health care, or they liked the Affordable Care Act, and they're like, 'Why are you guys doing this" I don't agree with that': This law is collapsing.... It's becoming more, and more, and more expensive.... This thing is collapsing under its own weight, and we have to step in and save people from this."

A Stable Transition

"The rug's not going to be pulled out from under people. And this is what I think the Left and the Democrats are trying to say to scare people into keeping Obamacare, to scare people into trying to keep this law as it is, which is failing. And so, no, there's going to clearly be a transition period until you can get a new and better system up and running so that people will not have that rug pulled out from under them.... The president-elect said yesterday--and what we've been saying all along--is we're advancing... legislation to repeal and replace Obamacare at the same time. And it will take time to put all of that into place... to get us to a better system to arrest the collapse of this system. And in that meantime, there will be transitions so that you don't wake up one morning, you know, this year, and you lose your health insurance--that's not going to happen."
