Victor dos Santos Named President of Commercial Insurance for SageSure Insurance Managers

JERSEY CITY, N.J., Sept. 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- SageSure Insurance Managers, a subsidiary of Insight Catastrophe Group (ICG) and the largest independent residential property managing general underwriter in the U.S., today announced the appointment of Victor dos Santos as President of Commercial Insurance.

SageSure plans to begin offering commercial lines in the coming years, in addition to the personal lines they have been offering since 2009. "We are always seeking ways to help our carriers and producers grow their business," said Terrence McLean, President and CEO of SageSure. "Victor is highly qualified to lead us into the commercial space and position us to achieve the success we have seen in residential property. I'm thrilled to have him as part of our team."

Dos Santos has 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. He comes to SageSure from Travelers Insurance, where he was most recently Vice President and Actuary of Business Insurance. While at Travelers, he led the pricing strategy and product filings for $11 billion of products across various types of business insurance, including commercial property, general liability, umbrella and more. Dos Santos graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a degree in mathematics and minors in psychology and economics. He is a fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society.
