The prestigious GCIE recognition is given to risk management and insurance programs that demonstrate a commitment to advancing knowledge, fostering research, and building vital connections between academia and the industry. Designees meet stringent criteria based on student qualifications, course offerings, and graduate employment rates. This program was developed by the IIS to help address the global talent gap by elevating the standards of insurance education globally.
The GCIE designation is retained for five years and subject to renewal thereafter. To foster collaboration and strengthen ties within the industry, all GCIE designees receive a one-year complimentary membership to the
