Two face charges after Knox crash
According to a press release from
Angel appeared to have sustained injuries during the crash and was transported to Baptist Health Corbin by Knox EMS for treatment.
While being transported, Angel was allegedly found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
During his investigation, Liford also allegedly found and seized several tablets of neurotin and diazepam, a small amount of suspected cocaine, a small amount of suspected heroin, a glass pipe with white residue, several syringes, a digital scale and over
Angel was charged with public intoxication, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, second-degree possession of a controlled substance, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, prescription controlled substance not in original container and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Polley also claimed to have sustained injuries but refused treatment from EMS and was released to family members, who transported her to an unknown treatment facility.
Polley was also charged with leaving the scene of an accident, no registration plates, no registration receipt and failure produce insurance card.
Due to their injuries, neither was arrested. Both were cited to appear in
