Managed Care Weekly Digest

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Managed Care Weekly Digest -- The Word & Brown Companies, a leading health-insurance and employee-benefits provider headquartered in Orange County, announced the sale of HealthCompare, Quotit, and a book of Medicare and Individual and Family Plan (IFP) focused business to National General Holdings Corp. Both companies were among the first awarded a Federally Facilitated Exchanges Web Broker Entity (FFE WBE) Agreement by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in 2013.
