Kevin Witcher, CEO of SWBC Insurance Services

With over 35 years of experience in the insurance industry, Witcher brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of driving growth and delivering value to clients. Since joining the company in 2022, he has established himself as a seasoned expert and has played a key role in driving strategic growth and performance within the insurance division.

"Over the past three years, I have observed Kevin’s work and have seen firsthand the passion, vision, and leadership he brings to the table," said Charlie Amato, Chairman and Co-founder of SWBC. "I am confident that his transition to CEO of Insurance Services will enhance our impact and promote continued growth for the organization."

Before joining SWBC, Kevin dedicated the majority of his professional career to Chubb Insurance, where he specialized in professional liability for the first 15 years. He possesses extensive expertise in various areas, including Directors' and Officers' liability, crime insurance, fiduciary liability, cyber liability, and employment practices coverage.

Kevin served as the Regional Financial Lines Manager, overseeing operations in Texas and Oklahoma, before transitioning to a marketing role encompassing all property and casualty products and personal lines. He later held the position of Vice President and Branch Manager at Chubb’s Austin Branch, which included Austin, San Antonio, and the western part of Texas.

As CEO, Witcher will work closely with leadership to align initiatives with the company's broader goals and help position the organization for long-term success.

“He knows our business, clients, and culture, and that’s exactly the kind of leadership we need,” said Gary Dudley, SWBC’s President and Co-founder. “I’m excited to see how he builds on the strong foundation he’s established over the past few years.”

Witcher has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing and Marketing Management from the University of Texas. He has served on various nonprofit boards, including as treasurer and board chair for AIDS Services of Austin, as well as serving on the Executive Committee and as a Board Trustee for Zach Scott Theatre.
