BURGLARY: A resident reported property stolen from his driveway in the 9300 block of Bull Rush Circle Sept. 8,

CAR BURGLARIES: Police said a thief or thieves are stealing from unlocked cars and then breaking into the victims' garages. Burglaries occurred in the 21300 block of Bristol Court, 800 block of St. Andrews Way, the 900 block of Shetland Drive and the 900 block of Milton Bridge Sept. 8-9.

Homer Glen

PURSE SNATCHED: A woman told police someone stole her purse from her shopping cart while she was loading groceries into her car outside of Meijer, 14169 S. Bell Road, Sept. 5, police said. The 76-year-old victim told police a car with four unknown men pulled up alongside of her, and that the man sitting in the passenger seat leaned out the window and grabbed her purse from the cart's child seat.

DUI CHARGE: Nicholas Flanc, 31, of Lemont, was charged with drunken driving, no insurance and squealing his tires Sept. 8 in the 14000 block of Founders Crossing, police said.

Mokena

RETAIL THEFT: Andrew Harbison, 24, of the 4600 block of Jefferson Drive, Richton Park, was charged with retail theft after stealing toiletries and batteries from Meijer, 11305 U.S. 30, on Sept. 6, police said.

DUI CHARGE: Emily Valentine, 27, of the 11200 block of First St., Mokena, was charged with drunken driving and speeding Sept. 7 at 191st and Wolf Road, police said.

New Lenox

CAR THEFT: Police said someone stole a pick-up truck, trailer, skid steer and other tree-removal equipment from the 2300 block of Washington Street Aug. 30.

CAR BURGLARY: Someone reportedly stole a wallet from an unlocked car in the 300 block of U.S. 30 Aug. 30.

DUI CHARGE: Robert Morin, 37, of Joliet, was charged with drunken driving Sept. 1 at U.S. 30 and Cooper Street, police said.

FELONY THEFT: Jalynn Montgomery, 18, of Markham, was charged with felony retail theft after stealing more than $2,500 worth of merchandise from Walmart, 501 E. U.S. 30, on Sept. 1, police said.

LOCKER THEFT: Someone reportedly stole a wallet from an unlocked locker at L.A. Fitness, 2431 E. U.S. 30, Sept. 8.

RETAIL THEFT: Kaely Roe, 33, of the 1100 block of Cedar Road, New Lenox, was charged with retail theft after stealing $600 in merchandise from Target, 2370 E. U.S. 30, on Sept. 13, police said.

DUI CHARGE: Shatuan Andrews, 22, of Chicago, was charged with drunken driving and speeding at U.S. 30 and Gougar Road Sept. 15, police said,

DUI CHARGE: Ruby Zambrano, 38, of Calumet City, was charged with drunken driving, endangering the life of a child and no proof of insurance after being questioned at Nelson and Laraway Roads Sept. 16, police said.

CRIMINAL TRESPASSING: Jeffrey Broadwell, 30, of Joliet, was charged with criminal trespassing after becoming disruptive in a waiting room at Silver Cross Hospital Sept. 16 and returning several times after being ordered to leave, police said.

Oak Forest

POT CHARGE: Marco Corpus, 19, of Dixmoor, was charged with possession of more than 30 grams of marijuana, no driver's license and speeding Sept. 10 at Central Avenue and Albert Drive, police said.

CAR BURGLARY: A man told police someone stole his work backpack containing a laptop from his unlocked car when it was parked in the 16200 block of Debra Drive Sept. 11.

HOME BURGLARIZED: A man told police someone stole several guitars, a video game system and a television after a burglar apparently entered his home through a basement window Sept. 11.

BIKE STOLEN: A yellow men's Huffy bicycle valued at $350 was stolen from a patio in the 15900 block of LeClaire Sept. 12.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Pache Begay, 41, of the 5000 block of 159th St., Oak Forest, was charged with two counts of domestic battery and one count of domestic-related criminal damage to property after a Sept. 16 incident near his home, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Ledale Tanniehill, 23, of the 14700 block of Central Avenue, was charged with domestic battery after a Sept. 16 incident at his home, police said.

DUI CHARGE: Tony Davenport, 36, of Chicago, was charged with drunken driving and improper parking in a roadway Sept. 16 at 167th and Central Avenue, police said.

Orland Park

RETAIL THEFT: Jennifer Parker, 45, of El Paso, IL., was charged with retail theft and was processed on an outstanding retail theft warrant out of Woodford County after police said she stole food from Mariano's, 9504 142nd St., Aug. 16, police said.

FELONY THEFT: Morgan Harris, 21, of the 3300 block of Savanna Lane, Matteson and Tamisha Wiley, 22, of the 500 block of Homeland Road, were charged with felony retail theft after they stole two shopping carts full of bedding, electronics, power tools and other items, valued at more than $1,900, from Target, 15890 94th Ave., Aug. 23, police said. Wiley was additionally charged with possession of marijuana and Harris with obstructing a police officer, police said.

DUI CHARGE: Michael Goodman, 58, of the 20300 block of Traverse Drive, Frankfort, was charged with drunken driving and possession of a concealed carry firearm while intoxicated Aug. 26 outside of the Brass Tap, 14255 95th Ave., police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Shajuan McGee-Baaddi, 46, of the 13900 block of Central Park Avenue, Robbins, was charged with retail theft and battery after stealing numerous items from Marshall's in Orland Park Place mall and then hitting and scratching an off-duty police officer assisting store employees trying to prevent her from fleeing Aug. 26, police said.

Tinley Park

THEFT CHARGE: Haesoon Newcom, 64, if the 17200 block of Oriole Avenue, Tinley Park, was charged with retail theft after her employer captured her on surveillance cameras stealing more than $300 worth of makeup from TJ Maxx, 7252 191st St., while working at the store between Aug. 22 and Sept. 6, police said.

LOCKER THEFT: A wallet was stolen from a locked locker at L.A. Fitness on Convention Center Drive Sept. 8, police said.

PURSE SNATCHED: A woman told police another woman snatched her purse from her shopping cart while she was loading merchandise into her car outside of Homegoods, 7420 W. 191st St., on Sept. 9.

THEFT CHARGE: Paulius Puhtejavas, 25, of Tinley Park, was charged with theft of services and obstructing a peace officer after refusing to pay a $116 cab fare and then attempting to run away when confronted by police on Sandalwood Drive Sept. 9, police said. A second man in the cab fled the scene, they said.

CAR BURGLARIES: A man told police someone stole his parking garage access cards and garage door opener from his unlocked car on Glenfield Avenue Sept. 9. The victim believes the thief also stole items from his garage. Two others victims on the street also advised his garage door opener were stolen from their cars the same day. A fourth victim on the street reported a pair of sunglasses stolen.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE: Someone shattered the outer glass window of a home on 71st Court Sept. 9-10.

BATTERY CHARGE: Vince Romano, 31, of Tinley Park, was charged with battery after he was accused of groping his Uber driver at 171st and 80th Avenue Sept. 10, police said.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: Police said someone attempted to break into a condo in the 16700 block of Paxton Avenue using a flat-edged tool to try to pry open a door Sept. 11.

CAR BURGLARY: Police said someone broke into a work can parked outside a home in the 6600 block of 183rd Street and stole approximately $2,500 worth of tools Sept. 11.

RECKLESS DRIVING: Jeffrey Feliszak, 40, of the 17300 block of George Brennan Highway, Tinley Park, was charged with reckless driving and disorderly conduct after chasing another car in a road rage incident, driving erratically and causing the victim to rear-end Feliszak near 175th and Ridgeland Avenue Sept. 12, police said. Feliszak threatened officers multiple times while at the police station, and refused to be fingerprinted or walk to his cell, according to a police report.

CAR BURGLARY: Three cars were burglarized during a middle school cross country meet at Centennial Park Sept. 13. The three victims each told police someone had smashed their car windows and stolen purses they had left concealed inside their cars, as well as other miscellaneous items, during the meet.

Will County

CAR BURGLARY: Policed said someone stole a tote containing medication, a cell phone and $100 cash from an unlocked car parked outside of Speedway gas station, 7200 W. U.S. 30, on Sept. 8.

WEAPONS CHARGE: Fredrich Myers, 27, of Joliet, was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, improper lane usage, improper turn signal, illegal transportation of alcohol and driving on a suspended license at Interstate 80 and Harlem Avenue in Frankfort Township Sept. 7, police said.

CAR BURGLARY: Someone stole $7 and a garage door opener from a truck parked inside a garage in the 20000 block of Timber Mill Drive in Frankfort Township Sept. 9.

BATTERY: Timothy Skonicki, 48, of Matteson, was charged with battery after a Sept. 9 incident in the 7800 block of U.S. 30 in Frankfort Township, police said.

STOLEN CAR: Police said they found a stolen car in the middle of the roadway with its lights on in the 27000 block of Sylvan Lane in Monee Township Sept. 4. Outside of the car was an open toolbox and flashlight. The owner lives down the street and was unaware his car had been stolen.

CAR BURGLARY: Someone stole a credit card and $180 from an unlocked car parked in the 7700 block of West Pauling Road in Monee Township Sept. 4. Other car burglaries occurred in the 26000 block of Foxwood Drive, the 25000 block of Bristol Lane and the 26000 block of Hawthorne Trail

THEFT: A man told police he heard his garage door opening at 2:15 a.m and saw an unknown man fleeing the scene in the 27000 block of Kuersten Road in Monee Township Sept. 4. The victim later discovered his garage door opener was stolen from his car.

STOLEN CAR: Police found a stolen car running and unoccupied in the left traffic lane on Governor's Highway in Richton Park Sept. 4. The car, a 2014 Volkswagen Jetta, was stolen overnight from a home on Castle Gate Drive. The victim said his 2015 Lexus was also stolen from inside his garage.

SMASH AND GRAB: Someone broke the window of a car parked in the 25000 block of Kensington Lane in Monee Township and stole $250, a $1,000 watch and a $300 pair of sunglasses Sept. 4.

Chicago Ridge

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Dustin Walker, 22, 6612 10300 Street, Chicago Ridge, was charged with domestic battery after an incident Sept. 7, police said.

BATTERY: Karyn Alm , 32, of Indiana, was charged with battery Sept. 7 after she punched someone in the face multiple times in the 10700 block of Ridgeland Avenue, police said.

DRUG CHARGES: Daniel Sullivan, 27, of the 13600 block of Royal Court in Crestwood, was charged with two counts of felony possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia Sept. 7 after Chicago Ridge detectives executed a search warrant at his home where they discovered approximately 205 grams of marijuana along with packaging and equipment used for the sale and distribution of the drug, police said.

DOMESTIC BATTERY: Amanda Vykruta, 22, of the 11700 block of Laporte Avenue in Alsip, was charged with domestic battery Sept. 11 after an altercation in the 5800 block of 107th Place, police said.

NO LICENSE: Arunas Kerpauskis, 51, of Palos Heights, was charged with driving without a valid driver's license Sept. 11 after he was stopped for a traffic violation in the 10100 block of Virginia Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Arunas Kerpauskis, 51, of Chicago Ridge, was charged with driving on a suspended license Sept. 12 after he was stopped for a traffic violation in the 10300 block of Southwest Highway, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Angela Odette, 37, of the 10300 block of Ridgeland Avenue was charged with driving on a suspended license Sept. 14 after she was stopped for a traffic violation in the 11000 block of Lombard Avenue, police said.

Oak Lawn

VANDALISM: Two windows were broken on the south side of a church Sept. 4 in the 9000 block of Ridgeland Avenue.

WARRANT SERVICE: Mauricio Gonzalez-Vazquez, 35, undisclosed address, Evergreen Park, was taken into custody on a Will County warrant for failing to appear in court on a suspended-license charge, police said.

WARRANT SERVICE: Levell C. Bess, 38, Chicago, was taken into custody on an undisclosed warrant Sept. 6 in the 4100 block of 95th Street, police said.

WARRANT SERVICE: Anthony W. Bigos, 43, 8600 block of 167th Place, Orland Park, was taken into custody on an undisclosed warrant Sept. 6 in the 12200 block of 80th Place, Palos Heights, police said.

ASSAULT CHARGE: Ayman M. Abdelaziz, 30, Joliet, was charged with assault Sept. 7 at Jewel-Osco, 8801 Ridgeland Ave., after threatening to stab an employee with a HIV-infected hypodermic needle in his pocket, police said. Abdelaziz, who had stolen four bottles of whiskey collectively selling for $143, was also charged with retail theft, police said.

DUI CHARGE: Noemi Carrero, 43, 8900 block of Saratoga Drive, Bridgeview, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, improper lane use, violating seatbelt law and obstructed windshield Sept. 7 in the 9400 block of Cicero Avenue after a urine sample revealed the presence of undisclosed drugs, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Joshua J. White, 30, 16200 block of Saint Louis Avenue, Markham, was charged with driving on a suspended license and speeding Sept. 7 in the 4800 block of Oak Center Drive, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Daniel J. Ambrose, 34, undisclosed block of Cour Marquis, Palos Hills, was charged with retail theft Sept. 8 at Jewel-Osco, 4650 103rd St., after stealing four bottles of whiskey collectively selling for $130, police said.

CHILD ENDANGERMENT: Jennifer L. Redlin, 27, 9800 block of Merrimac Avenue, Oak Lawn, was charged with endangering the life or health of a child Sept. 8 in that block following an undisclosed incident, police said.

REVOKED LICENSE: Raheeman K. Shabazz, 22, Minneapolis, Minn., was charged with driving on a revoked license and speeding Sept. 9 at 95th Street and 50th Court, police said.

CAR BURGLARY: A suitcase containing a purse, laptop computer and personal items was stolen from a vehicle's locked trunk Sept. 8 in an undisclosed block of St. James Court.

NO LICENSE: Ramiro Coss-Duran, 37, Chicago, was charged with driving without a valid license, driving on a suspended license and obstructed windshield Sept. 9 in the 9500 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

BATTERY CHARGE: Arnold S. Hofling, 26, 4900 block of Paxton Road, Oak Lawn, was charged with aggravated battery and two counts of resisting arrest Sept. 8 at the Oak Lawn police station after elbowing an officer in the chest and biting his ankle while grappling with that officer and a second officer, police said. At that time, Hofling was being booked on a charge of battery for punching another customer at a restaurant in the 9600 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT: Aliris J. Ortiz, 24, 10300 block of Parkside Avenue, Oak Lawn, was charged with disorderly conduct Sept. 8 in that block after a verbal dispute turned physical, police said.

BIKE THEFT: A customer's unlocked bicycle was stolen Sept. 9 from the vestibule at Target, 4129 95th St.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Anthony D. Benion, 42, undisclosed block of East Gate Drive, Country Club Hills, was charged with driving on a suspended license and having an obstructed windshield Sept. 10 in the 9400 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

BATTERY CHARGE: Tywon D. Meeks, 27, Chicago, was charged with aggravated battery after attempting to disarm a security guard Sept. 10 at Advocate Christ Medical Center, where he was also served with an Illinois Department of Corrections warrant for violating parole police said. Meeks grappled with hospital staff while visiting a brother who was being treated for a gunshot wound, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: James P. Rafferty III, 29, Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license and improper lighting/one headlamp Sept. 10 in the 9400 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

ILLEGAL LIGHTS: Rami Shamout, 36, Wheaton, was charged with illegally using oscillating, rotating and flashing blue lights and a siren Sept. 10 in the 5500 block of 99th Street after an officer discovered the equipment during a traffic stop, police said. Shamout's vehicle was towed to the public works department, where employees removed the illegal devices, police said.

VANDALISM: Two tires were punctured on a PACE transport van Sept. 10 while it sat in a residential driveway in an undisclosed block of 106th Place.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Mario A. Pacheco, 37, Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license and following too closely during a Sept. 11 crash investigation at 110th Street and Cicero Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Guillermo M. Tolbut, 26, 18500 block of Harwood Avenue, Homewood, was charged with driving on a suspended license, speeding, expired registration and driving without insurance Sept. 11 in the 4800 block of 104th Street, police said.

VANDALISM: An officer following up Sept. 11 on a Sept. 6 orange spray paint-related vandalism to private property on Lynwood Drive near Menard Avenue found a block-long trail of orange spray paint with additional paint damage on Mayfield Avenue.

VANDALISM: Two tires were punctured on the driver's side of a car Sept. 11 while it was parked on the street in an undisclosed block of 52nd Avenue.

REVOKED LICENSE: Brian G. Brammer, 46, Chicago, was charged with driving on a revoked license, following too close and failing to reduce speed to avoid a collision during a Sept. 12 investigation of a three-car crash in the 11000 block of Cicero Avenue, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Wael A. Salah, 58, 5100 block of Bellaire Road, Oak Forest, was charged with driving on a suspended license and obstructed view Sept. 12 at 95th Street and Melvina Avenue where he was also served with a Cook County warrant for failing to appear on a traffic charge, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Matthew Doyle Jr., 37, 5200 Midlothian Turnpike, Crestwood, was taken into custody on a Will County warrant for failing to appear in court on a suspended-license charge Sept. 13 in the 11000 block of Pulaski Road, police said.

Palos Hills

SEXUAL ASSAULT: Joseph Gleeson IV, was indicted on 3 counts of criminal sexual assault on Sept 11 for an incident that occurred in July of 2017, police said.

THEFT: A resident in the 7900 block of 107th Place told police he was cutting his lawn on Sept. 11 when he went inside his house for a break, leaving the lawn mower in the front yard, police said. When he returned to finish, the lawnmower was missing.

FAILURE TO YIELD TO AN EMERGENCY VEHICLE: Ala Alassaf, 22, of Worth, was charged with failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, running a stop sign and possession of drugs Sept. 11 after he was stopped for a traffic violation in Palos Hills and police found marijuana inside his car, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Ryan Chaffin, 25, of Hickory Hills, was charged with retail theft Sept. 13 at the Walgreens located in the 11000 block of Southwest Highway, police said.

BATTERY: Michael Lewicki, 40, of Palos Hills, was charged with battery after an altercation Sept. 15, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Walter Thomas, 37, of Chicago was charged with driving on a suspended license Sept. 19 after he was stopped for improper lane usage in Palos Hills, police said.

Country Club Hills

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Akhenaton T. Arrington, 42, 15600 block of Union Avenue, Harvey, was charged with driving on a suspended license, expired registration and driving without insurance Sept. 9 at 177th Street and Pulaski Road, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Gail J. Akison, 31, Romeoville, was charged with retail theft Sept. 11 the Wal-Mart SuperCenter, 4005168th Place, after stealing cigarettes selling for $149.20, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Monika M. Brunner, 35, 500 block of Hickok Avenue, University Park, was charged with driving on a suspended license Sept. 11 in the 4000 block of 168th Place, police said.

WARRANT SERVICE: Allante M. Broils, 26, Covington, Ga., was taken into custody on an undisclosed Birmingham, Ala., no-bond warrant Sept. 12 at Pulaski Road and Soleri Drive and Pulaski Road, police said.

WEAPONS CHARGE: Jerron O. Brewer, 25, Lansing, was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon after he was found to have a handgun Sept. 14 in the 1100 block of Williamsburg Road where he was also charged with obstructing identification, police said.

Homewood

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Eric Jones, 47, 400 block of Arizona Avenue, Glenwood, was charged with driving on a suspended license and driving without insurance Sept. 11 at Ridge Road and Halsted Street, police said.

RETAIL THEFT: Michael Mundell, 39, Calumet City, was charged with retail theft Sept. 11 at The Home Depot, 17845 Halsted St., after stealing merchandise selling for $347, police said.

SUSPENDED LICENSE: Dwayne Carmichael, 27, Chicago, was charged with driving on a suspended license, violating seatbelt law, driving without insurance and unlawfully possessing vehicle registration Sept. 12 at 183rd and Halsted streets, police said.

PARAPHERNALIA CHARGE: Jesse Schutt, 22, 9600 block of Mansfield Avenue, Oak Lawn, was charged with possessing drug paraphernalia during a Sept. 13 traffic stop for speeding at 183rd Street and Martin Avenue after he was found to have a glass smoking pipe, police said.

POT CHARGE: Jacques Fuqua, 33, 16800 block of Crane Avenue, Hazel Crest, was charged with possessing 30-100 grams of cannabis during a Sept. 13 traffic stop in the 17500 block of Halsted Street after he was found to have 30 grams of marijuana, police said.
