Sen. Menendez Introduces Bill to Reauthorize National Flood Insurance Program

WASHINGTON, Nov. 3 -- Sen. Robert Menendez, D-N.J., has introduced legislation (S. 3128) to "reauthorize the National Flood Insurance Program."

The bill was introduced on Nov. 1 and has eight co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Sens. Bill Cassidy, R-La., Cory Booker, D-N.J., John Kennedy, R-La., Chris Van Hollen, D-Md., Cindy Hyde-Smith, R-Miss., Marco Rubio, R-Fla., Roger Wicker, R-Miss., and Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y.

The legislation was referred to the Senate Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs Committee.
