Sen. Cornyn’s Bill to Protect Medicare, Repeal Obamacare Rationing Panel Becomes Law

WASHINGTON, Feb. 9 -- The office of Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, issued the following statement after his legislation to repeal the Independent Payment Advisory Board created by Obamacare became law as a part of the government funding bill:

"Critical health care decisions should be made by patients, their families, and their doctors - not by a board of unelected and unaccountable bureaucrats.

"By repealing the unconstitutional IPAB once and for all, we are restoring control of deeply personal health choices back in the hands of the American people."
