“Our Market Crest Annuity from SBLI is ideal for those planning for their retirement or seeking a safe and secure home for their investment,” said
IAMS is the core distribution partner of Market Crest.
“We are pleased to have partnered with SBLI in designing and distributing this innovative hybrid annuity that offers clients the peace of mind of earning an attractive minimum return with an S&P 500® market-based index bonus. Offering clients the flexibility of 3-, 5-, and 7-year terms with options to select a 4% minimum rate and as much as a 70% participation rate will serve the best interests of many clients,” said
Market Crest is a single-premium deferred annuity. At the end of the interest rate guarantee period, the annuity yields a return based on the higher of two values: either the total accumulated value from the guaranteed fixed interest rate or the indexed value, which is based on the performance of the S&P 500® Index. If the indexed value is greater than the accumulated value, any excess will be credited as an interest bonus.
Key features of Market Crest are:
- Guaranteed Stability: Secures a fixed interest rate for the chosen guarantee period, safeguarding against market volatility. This is the minimum return the annuity owner will receive.
- Enhanced Earnings Opportunity: Owners gain from the possibility of a higher return linked to the S&P 500® Index’s positive performance.
- Flexibility: Allows selection from 3-, 5-, or 7-year guarantee periods with embedded guaranteed interest rates and traditional S&P 500® Index participation options, providing choices to meet individual financial goals.
- Tax-Deferred Growth: Owners enjoy faster asset accumulation than in taxable investments, as earnings aren’t taxed until withdrawal. This allows their money to compound more efficiently.
