Healthcare now costs more than mortgages

The Western News

Thanks Obamacare....which was sold to the public as a 'fix' for sky rocketing health care costs/coverage. It was supposed to be a lifeline for struggling families.

Instead, it became the golden goose for big insurance, big pharma and big gov.

Since the creation of and expansion of the MANY gov health programs Obamacare promoted/created, health insurer stock prices have surged, reflecting the financial benefits THEY gained from said GOVERNMENT FUNDED programs. (ie, taxpayer funded).

The average American family now pays over $2,200 a month for health insurance - that's more than the average monthly mortgage payment of $2,000. THINK about it...keeping a roof over your head costs less than health care for your family and that's probably limited care with HIGH deductibles.

Paying for healthcare has now become the top financial worry for American families, eclipsing housing, groceries and retirement. Every year, patients are paying more while getting less... and taxpayers are footing the bill. (Keep in mind that privately employed people are also footing the bill for ALL gov. employee health care premiums as well...(yes, most pay in 19% but that is still taxpayer money as everything they get is taxpayer funded.)

Locally, the Libby Community Health Center (CHC) is undergoing a HUGE expansion..who, exactly is paying for that? Three guesses ... & the first 2 don't count. Yep. TAXPAYERS...ala TRUMP's HUGE $233 million rural healthcare give away. (this program funding is expected to total up to $1.2 billion over the life of the program. ALL TAXPAYER MONEY!)

So, if privately employed families and individuals aren't getting killed with ever higher health insurance premiums, they ALSO have to cough up the $$$ for gov employee insurance, gov funded medical facilities and programs. (ie, Medicaid - which is certifiably FULL of GRAFT)

ALL THIS IS DONE VIA TAXATION. SO, the 50% of us who pay taxes pay for ourselves...and everyone else to boot (the 50% who pay no taxes.) Now big INSURANCE COMPANIES, BIG PHARMA, many hospitals, et al, are laughing all the way to the bank.

MASS FRAUD from insurers, ballooning profits at so called 'non-profit' hospitals & skimming by PBMs (so called pharmacy benefit 'managers') add insult to injury. BOTH gov and private health entities continue to FLEECE the PUBLIC. (that would be taxpayers)

The 'system' isn't just broken. It's crashing and burning...and taking taxpayers down with it....while certain entities take the money and run.

Fine kettle of fish...not!
