VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) _ Sandstorm Gold Ltd. (SAND) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter profit of $10.5 million.
The Vancouver, British Columbia-based company said it had net income of 5 cents per share.
The results met Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 5 cents per share.
The provider of financing for gold mining companies posted revenue of $29.7 million in the period.
For the year, the company reported profit of $13.8 million, or 7 cents per share. Revenue was reported as $93 million.
Sandstorm Gold shares have decreased 10% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $6.44, a fall of slightly more than 6% in the last 12 months.
