Roly Serrano, in intensive care after suffering a serious accident on Route 9: "Prognosis reserved".

The Argentine actor Roly Serrano was involved in an accident this Sunday night on Route 9, at kilometer 115, and as a consequence of the accident, he is currently in intensive care at the Lino Piñero Hospital in Baradero.

Although the causes of the accident were not specified, it is known that the crash was against another car in which a family was traveling, where a 6 year old boy and his father remain hospitalized with different injuries, although they will be discharged in the next few hours.

Carlos Baliela, medical director of the Hospital, indicated that Serrano suffered "a thorax traumatism and a skull traumatism" and that he remains hospitalized "with a reserved prognosis".

As reported, the 69-year-old actor was admitted to the Hospital lucid, but he decompensated and had to be transferred to the ICU area. At the same time, a response from Roly Serrano's health insurance company is awaited in order to transfer him to the City of Buenos Aires.

On the other hand, referring to the members of the other car, Baliela said: "A 35-year-old man was admitted with a cut wound on his scalp. He is in transit with a good evolution. A 6-year-old boy is also under observation with facial trauma. He and his father will be discharged at noon".

In turn, Sebastián Rivadeneira, head of the Volunteer Fire Department that intervened in the place at the time of the collision, explained: "One vehicle was left on the road and the other on the shoulder. Our job was to remove the batteries to avoid fires. The van driven by the actor Rolando Serrano had hit the other vehicle. When we arrived, all the occupants of the vehicles had already been removed," he added.
