Rep. Velazquez Introduces Bill on Reforms to National Flood Insurance Program

WASHINGTON, June 6 -- Rep. Nydia M. Velazquez, D-N.Y., has introduced legislation (H.R. 3111) to "make administrative reforms to the National Flood Insurance Program to increase fairness and accuracy and protect the taxpayer from program fraud and abuse."
The bill was introduced on June 5. It was referred to the House Financial Services Committee.
