Rep. Sessions Introduces Resolution on Replacement for Obamacare

WASHINGTON, Sept. 29 -- Rep. Pete Sessions, R-Texas, has introduced a resolution (H.Res. 1089) "expressing the sense of the House of Representatives that a replacement for the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act should have certain features."

The resolution was introduced on Sept. 27 and has 18 co-sponsors. Co-sponsors include Reps. John J. Faso, R-N.Y., Tom Cole, R-Okla., Don Bacon, R-Neb., Kay Granger, R-Texas, J. French Hill, R-Ark., Mark Amodei, R-Nev., Bradley Byrne, R-Ala., Greg Gianforte, R-Mont., Leonard Lance, R-N.J., Paul Mitchell, R-Mich., Bill Johnson, R-Ohio, Ted Poe, R-Texas, Mike Bishop, R-Mich., Claudia Tenney, R-N.Y., Pete Olson, R-Texas, Ken Buck, R-Colo., Mark Meadows, R-N.C., and Kevin Cramer, R-N.D.

The resolution was referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
