Rep. Peters Introduces Bill to Establish Program of Risk Corridors for Health Insurance Issuers

WASHINGTON, April 21 -- Rep. Scott Peters, D-Calif., has introduced legislation (H.R. 6518) to "direct the Secretary of Health and Human Services to establish a program of risk corridors for health insurance issuers offering health insurance coverage in the individual or small group market for certain plan years."
The bill was introduced on April 17 and was co-sponsored by Rep. Angie Craig, D-Minn. It was referred to the House Energy and Commerce Committee.
