Rep. Peters Introduces Bill on National Flood Insurance Program

WASHINGTON, April 19 -- Rep. Scott Peters, D-Calif., has introduced legislation (H.R. 2632) to "eliminate any subsidies for flood insurance coverage under the National Flood Insurance Program for new construction."
The bill was introduced on April 16 and was co-sponsored by Rep. Andy Barr, R-Ky. It was referred to the House Financial Services Committee.
