Rep. Messer Calls for More Work on Obamacare Repeal
Congressional Documents & Publications
WASHINGTON (Monday, March 27, 2017) -- Rep. Luke Messer (IN-06) today called for more work on legislation to repeal and replace Obamacare.
Messer, who chairs the House Republican Policy Committee and is a member of House Leadership, spoke on the House Floor today to urge his colleagues to keep their promise to the American people and repeal this failed law.
"Hoosiers don't like Obamacare, and they've worked hard for six years to stop it. That's what made last week's failure to vote so disheartening," Messer said in his floor speech today. "It's inside baseball, politics as usual, and it's not OK. It's not OK to the millions of families facing soaring premiums and worse health care under Obamacare, and it shouldn't be OK to any of us. We cannot walk away now, without even a vote, with so much at stake."
