Rep. Gonzalez Introduces Bill to Require Coverage of COVID-19 Antibody Treatments

WASHINGTON, Jan. 27 -- Rep. Anthony Gonzalez, R-Ohio, has introduced legislation (H.R. 467) to amend the Families First Coronavirus Response Act and the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act "to require group health plans and health insurance issuers offering group or individual health insurance coverage to provide coverage, without cost sharing, of certain COVID-19 antibody treatments."
The bill was introduced on Jan. 25 and was co-sponsored by Rep. Abigail Spanberger, D-Va. It was jointly referred to the House Energy and Commerce; Ways and Means; and Education and Labor committees.
