Rep. Bacon’s Staff Will Provide Additional Resources to Seniors at Medicare Open Enrollment Events

OMAHA, Nebraska, Oct. 12 -- Rep. Don Bacon, R-Nebraska, issued the following news release:

- Medicare Open Enrollment is October 15 - December 7

* * *

Staff members from Congressman Don Bacon's (NE-02) District office will join Volunteers Assisting Seniors (VAS) at several Medicare Open Enrollment events throughout the district, to provide seniors additional information about federal programs to assist with their transition into retirement. Medicare Open Enrollment begins October 15 and continues through December 7.

VAS is contracted by the Nebraska Department of Insurance to provide unbiased, objective information to seniors about Medicare coverage options and provide assistance during enrollment. These services are supported by a federal grant from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
