R.I. Real Estate Notes: Little Compton house sells for $1.8 million

Providence Journal (RI)

Sept. 29--"Bellweather," a house in Little Compton that was originally built as a storage barn for the Army during World War II, has been sold for $1.8 million, according to Residential Properties Ltd.

The house, at 2F Warrens Point Road, is located in the pricey, private enclave of Warrens Point, which is near Sakonnet Point. Rebecca Rubin of RPL's Providence office represented the seller, while the buyer was represented by Lila Delman Real Estate International. The house was formerly owned by Ann Chase Hendrie, who died in October 2015.

The former storage barn was converted into a custom shingle-style home with water views from nearly every room. It had been listed for $2,195,000.
