Physician Partners of America Now Accepting Medicare for Laser Spine Procedures

PR Web

TAMPA, Fla. (PRWEB) May 08, 2018

Insurance need not be a barrier to a pain free spine, especially for Medicare recipients. Minimally invasive laser spine innovator James St. Louis, D.O., MS, is now accepting Medicare for his procedures.

The surgical founder of Laser Spine Institute, who became director of Physician Partners of America – Minimally Invasive Spine Group in January, is doing free educational seminars at prominent senior communities around Florida. He visited Sun City Center, Fla., in March and will visit The Villages on May 12. At each seminar, he is offering free MRI reviews for interested neck and back pain sufferers.

Those interested in attending upcoming seminars can go to ppoaseminars.com or call (352) 268-1326.

Laser spine surgery is performed on an outpatient basis, and incisions are usually less than one-inch long. This spares the muscles surrounding the spine from damage, leading to a high success rate and quick recovery. The procedure is performed in Physician Partners of America's AAAHC-accredited Ambulatory Surgery Center in Tampa.

Laser spine surgery is highly successful in treating many debilitating conditions, including:

  • Degenerative disc disease
  • Spinal stenosis
  • Sciatica
  • Foraminal stenosis
  • Spondylolisthesis
  • Bulging and herniated discus
  • Failed back syndrome

Dr. St. Louis is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery by the American Board of Physician Specialists. In addition to Laser Spine Institute, he also founded Alabama Bone & Joint Center and Pensacola (Fla.) Bone & Joint Center, and he served as medical director of HealthSouth in Pensacola.

A commissioned officer in the United States Army, Dr. St. Louis earned his bachelors and masters of Science degrees at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. He received his medical degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed his surgical training in the military and at Kennedy Medical Center in Cherry Hill, N.J.

He is a member of many medical organizations including the American Osteopathic Association, American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, American Medical Association and American Association of Physician Specialists.

Pain patients interested in seeing Dr. St. Louis can make an appointment at his office in Tampa, 4728 N. Habana Ave., Tampa FL 33614. Visit http://www.ppoaspine.com or call 855-25-LASER (855-255-2734).
