Penn Mutual Raises Dividend To $58M
HORSHAM, Pa. - The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company (Penn Mutual) is proud to announce that over the last nine years, and most notably since the financial crisis in 2008, they have increased or maintained their annual dividend scale. This month, they have announced that they again increased their dividend payout to $58 million, up $10 million from the previous year’s payout.
Penn Mutual, headquartered in Horsham, PA, is the only company among other major whole life competitors that has not decreased their dividend scale in the post-recession era.

As dividends are a measured factor in the performance of a mutual insurance company, Penn Mutual credits the dividend increase in part to the growth in their whole life business.
