Paul Worthing Named FDIC San Francisco Regional Director

WASHINGTON, Sept. 23 (TNSper) -- The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation issued the following news release on Sept. 22, 2023:
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) has appointed Paul P. Worthing Regional Director, San Francisco Region. In this position, he directs both Risk Management and Consumer Protection supervision programs for financial institutions headquartered in the Region.
Mr. Worthing has been with the FDIC for more than 33 years and has held a number of leadership positions within the Division of Risk Management Supervision, including Deputy Regional Director in the San Francisco Region for the past six years and Assistant Regional Director in the San Francisco Region for seven years.
He began his FDIC career as a Bank Examiner in the Fort Worth, Texas Field Office, and later served as a Senior Bank Examiner in the Phoenix, Arizona Field Office. Mr. Worthing also held Case Manager and Senior Case Manager positions in the San Francisco Regional Office.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. He is also a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.
Mr. Worthing fills the vacancy created by the retirement of Kathy Moe on August 30, 2023.
