Paul Hastings LLP is advising Morgan Stanley on its $1.55 billion of committed bridge financing for RenaissanceRe'sHoldings Ltd. (NYSE: RNR) acquisition of American International Group, Inc.'s treaty reinsurance business, which includes Validus Reinsurance Ltd. and its consolidated subsidiaries, AlphaCat Managers Ltd. and its managed funds, and all renewal rights to the Assumed Reinsurance Treaty Unit of Talbot (collectively, "Validus Re") to create a leading global property and casualty reinsurer.
Global Finance partner Morgan Bale is leading the Paul Hastings team, which also includes Global M&A co-chair Eduardo Gallardo and Corporate partners Jonathan Ko and Kris Villarreal, with support from associates Stephen Rettger and Bethany Hickey.
