Forbes partnered with MSCI ESG Research to develop the list, analyzing the accounting and governance behaviors of over 700 companies, including factors such as high-risk events, revenue and expense recognition methods, SEC sanctions, and risk of bankruptcy. With an average AGR (“Aggressive Accounting and Governance Risk”) score of 97 over the last 4 quarters, PartnerRe ranked the highest out of all large cap companies considered.
