The cycle verification visits are very tedious and time consuming.
Submitting all the documents for all the activities in one cycle visit at a certain deadline date is very tedious and time consuming. If submitting documents for different activities can be made at different dates to the ISO Specialist, it may make it less tedious. Or, process for submittals need to be brainstormed to make the CRS cycle visit submittals less tedious. The goal is to encourage all agencies to participate in the CRS process and improve their CRS ratings and not discourage agencies to improve by making the process of submittals and requirements more tedious.
Credits are not provided to agencies for projects that aims to take residences out of the flood zone. Only, credits are provided if risks are reduced in flood zones. Credits should be provided for projects that takes residences out of SFHA as well. The goal of CRS should be not only to reduce flood risks but eliminate flood risks as well and provide credits accordingly.
