Visionary Healthcare Executive to Lead Its Managed Care and Health Insurance Division

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Paladin Healthcare today announced that well respected healthcare industry leader Henry Loubet has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Paladin Healthcare Alliance.

Over the past several years, Paladin has established itself an innovative leader in quality of care, operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, financial success, and contributions for communities, which are among the most underserved and disadvantaged in the United States. The Principals of Paladin Healthcare own and operate the Avanti Hospitals in Southern California and manages Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC.

As CEO of Paladin Healthcare Alliance, Loubet will apply his nationally recognized expertise, leadership and vision of the healthcare industry to head this new division of Paladin Healthcare. Paladin Healthcare Alliance is responsible for the development of a comprehensive risk-based managed care platform, an affiliated physician alignment strategy, and architecting a community-centric integrated healthcare delivery system to expand equal access to quality healthcare services in underrepresented and disadvantaged communities.

Loubet was previously named as one of California’s Top 100 Healthcare Executives. He has extensive experience in executive-level managed healthcare, hospital administration, technology and pharmacy.

He previously served as CEO of UnitedHealthcare’s Western Region with responsibility for 1.6 million members in 10 western states. He also served as President of Health Net/Foundation Health where he led health plan growth to more than 750,000 members and $1 billion in revenue. He was also Director of Patient Business Services and created Valley Health Plan at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, a 600-bed county teaching hospital in the Silicon Valley, affiliated with Stanford.

Loubet has served and currently serves on many Boards of Directors of leading healthcare and philanthropic organizations, including Integrated Healthcare Association (IHA), Gem Care Health Plan, MCS IPA, Ace Kids Golf Foundation, and Make-A-Wish Foundation.
