The Ottawa Police Department reported the following individuals were arrested between Jan. 31-Feb. 12.
Jan. 31
Amber M. Price, 38, Rantoul, was arrested on a warrant in the 900 block of South Mulberry Street.
Damon A. Wallis, 59, Ottawa, was arrested in the 1400 block of North Main Street on suspicion of driving while under the influence, transporting an open container and failure to signal.
Gage W. Branam-Shaw, 20, Williamsburg, was cited in the 1800 block of Indiana Road on suspicion of driving with a suspended license.
Stephen E. Longfellow, 37, Ottawa, was cited in the 200 block of South Poplar Street on suspicion of driving with a suspended license, no liability insurance, providing false information concerning an accident and failing to stop at an accident.
Feb. 1
Benjamin J. Polasky, 40, Ottawa, was arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court in the 300 block of South Main Street.
Feb. 2
Brandi D. Christian, 41, Osage City, was cited in the 100 block of North Davis Avenue on suspicion of driving with a suspended license and no liability insurance.
An Ottawa juvenile was arrested and taken into protective custody after running away from home.
Michael E. A. Williams, 31, Ottawa, was cited in the 700 block of South Liberty on suspicion of disorderly conduct and assault.
Dominique R. Burnett, 32, Ottawa, was arrested in the 900 block of North Cherry Street on suspicion of driving with a suspended license.
Dale E. Gray, 53, Wellsville, was arrested in the 2100 block of South Princeton Street on suspicion of trespassing.
Edward J. Bohnert, 42, Ottawa, was arrested in the 600 block of North Sycamore Street on suspicion of possessing opiates, drug paraphernalia, criminal carry of a weapon, interference with law enforcement, driving with a suspended license, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and no liability insurance.
Feb. 3
Alesa D. Buchanan, 36, Ottawa, was arrested in the 1600 block of South Poplar Street on suspicion of disorderly conduct, interference with law enforcement, child endangerment and battery on a law-enforcement officer.
Richard F. Henricks, 66, Quenemo, was arrested in the 1600 block of South Main on suspicion of driving with a suspended license, transporting an open container and operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device.
Feb. 4
Michael W. McNabb, 33, Ottawa, was taken into custody in the 1600 block of South Osage Drive on suspicion of criminal damage to property.
Zachary J. Short, 25, Ottawa, was arrested on a warrant in the 1600 block of South Osage Drive.
Levi E. Short, 21, Lyndon, was arrested in the 2100 block of South Princeton Street on suspicion of shoplifting items with an estimated value of less than $1,500.
Rettie R. Doan, 76, Ottawa, was arrested in the 2100 block of South Princeton Street on suspicion of shoplifting items with an estimated value of less than $1,500.
Joshua C. Ridener, 41, Ottawa, was cited in the 1800 block of South Ash Street on suspicion of shoplifting. According to reports, Ridener was cited on six individual incidents – each with an estimated value of less than $1,500.
Jason E. Collins, 37, Lawrence, was cited in the 3000 block of Kansas Highway 68 on suspicion of possessing methamphetamines, marijuana and drug paraphernalia as well as interfering with a law-enforcement officer and no liability insurance.
Feb. 5
Anwar B. Keys, 41, homeless, was arrested in the 400 block of South Hickory Street on suspicion of driving with a suspended license, possession of drug paraphernalia and no liability insurance.
Curtis E. Waller, 45, Ottawa, was arrested on a warrant in the 100 block of West Red Jacket Street.
Alec D. Buffum, 24, Ottawa, was arrested in the 2500 block of East Logan Street on suspicion of possessing marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Robert E. Springstead, 40, Ottawa, was arrested on a warrant from another jurisdiction in the 100 block of East 1st Street.
Eric L. Mersman, 45, Greeley, was taken into custody in the 300 block of South Main Street on suspicion of shoplifting items with an estimated value of less than $1,500.
Feb. 6
Garland J. White, 42, Edgerton, was cited in the 300 block of South Main Street on suspicion of shoplifting items with an estimated value of less than $1,500.
Clayton E. York, 26, Fort Scott, was cited in the 1600 block of South Main Street for keeping a vicious animal.
Feb. 7
James R. Adell, 47, Ottawa, was cited in the 300 block of East Massasoit Street on suspicion of disorderly conduct.
Deric D. Wixom, 21, Baldwin, was arrested in the 2100 block of South Princeton Street on suspicion of trespass.
Patrick D. Stoneking, 33, Ottawa, was arrested on a warrant from another jurisdiction in the 600 block of North King Street. Stoneking was later cited in the 300 block of South Main Street on suspicion of shoplifting items with an estimated value of less than $1,500.
Feb. 10
Christina A. Davis, 34, Ottawa, was arrested on a warrant from another jurisdiction in the 200 block of North Cottonwood Street.
Kristine N. Brady, 36, Kansas City, Kan., was arrested on a warrant in the 900 block of East 7th Street. Brady was later cited in the 300 block of South Main Street on suspicion of shoplifting items with an estimated value of less than $1,500 and trespassing.
Eric D. Davis, 36, Ottawa, was cited in the 300 block of North Main Street on suspicion of operating a vehicle without an ignition interlock device.
Wanda L. Helm, 39, Ottawa, was cited in the 200 block of East Powhattan Street on suspicion of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Luke J. Harvey, 37, Lane, was cited in the 200 block of East Powhattan Street on suspicion of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Guadalupe L. Velez, 68, Ottawa, was arrested in the 200 block of East Powhattan Street on suspicion of domestic battery, criminal damage to property, possession of methamphetamines, trafficking a controlled substance into a correctional facility and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Joshua A. Crump, 44, Ottawa, was taken into custody in the 2600 block of Kansas Highway 68 on suspicion of driving with a suspended license, making an improper stop and failure to yield at a stop sign.
Feb. 11
Brent A. Nelson, 41, Rantoul, was arrested in the 800 block of North Mulberry on suspicion of driving with a suspended license, no liability insurance, making an improper stop and failure to stop at an intersection. Nelson was also arrested on two outside agency warrants.
Codie J. Prochaska, 18, Ottawa, was cited in the 1500 block of South Main Street for driving with a suspended license and failing to yield the right of way.
Feb. 12
Brandon A. D. Dobson, 37, Ottawa, was arrested in the 600 block of South Maple Street on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threat, domestic battery and criminal damage to property.
Wyvon H. Thomas, 65, Ottawa, was cited in the 300 block of North Main Street on suspicion of theft and driving with a suspended license.
