Guidewire products to support residential lines of business at Optimum General

MONTREAL & FOSTER CITY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Optimum General Inc., Canadian property and casualty (P&C) insurers providing their products exclusively through the broker distribution network, and Guidewire Software Inc. (NYSE: GWRE), provider of the industry platform P&C insurers rely upon, announced today that all Optimum General Inc. companies, namely Optimum Insurance Company Inc., Optimum West Insurance Company Inc. and Optimum Farm Insurance Company Inc. (“Optimum Companies”), have selected Guidewire InsurancePlatform™ Core products to assist with the operations of their residential lines of business.

Optimum Companies selected Guidewire PolicyCenter™, Guidewire Rating Management™, and Guidewire Reinsurance Management™ as their new underwriting, policy administration, rating, and reinsurance management products for their residential lines of business. Optimum Companies sought to standardize their residential processes across their branches and to increase their operational efficiency using the real-time functionality of the selected Guidewire products.
