Old Savannah Insurance Agency and the America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia Organization Launch Charity Event to Fight Hunger

PR Web

Savannah, GA (PRWEB) June 26, 2017

Old Savannah Insurance Agency, a Georgia-based insurance management and personal financial planning firm serving communities in and around Chatham County, is kicking off a charity event in conjunction with America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia to bring an end to hunger in the region.

America's Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia has worked to end hunger in the Savannah area since 1981 by providing fresh and nutritious food to hungry residents, as well as offering family education workshops to help create a hunger-free community. In 2016 alone, ASHCG provided nearly 10 million meals to hungry families throughout the region.

"We're honored to be working in support of America's Second Harvest because we know how important it is that everyone in our community has access to healthy and nutritious food," says James Grusheski, owner and executive director of Old Savannah Insurance Agency.

Grusheski is organizing his professional team to conduct an online information sharing campaign over email and social media platforms to draw in assistance from local families, civic leaders, and policy makers for the charity drive. A new feature article outlining the charity event will soon be released in a new issue of the Old Savanna Insurance online magazine "Our Hometown": http://www.oldsavannahinsuranceagency.com/Our-Hometown-Magazine_41.

Old Savannah Insurance has long been assisting regional charitable efforts, and nearly 20 separate nonprofits in the region have received support from the agency over the last several years. As affiliates of a nationwide charity support coalition called "Agents of Change," Grusheski and his team plan to work with additional Savannah area charities regularly.
