New regional manager for systems integration for Clallam, Jefferson and Kitsap counties

The Community Health Plan of Washington (CHPW) has hired Kate Ingman as its regional manager for systems integration for Clallam, Jefferson and Kitsap counties.
CHPW administers the state's Apple Health Medicaid plan and its Medicare managed care plan.
Ingman will coordinate with local behavioral health, medical and community-based organizations to support CHPW members.
Open enrollment
The Washington Health Benefit Exchange reported that more than 2,600 customers had secured health coverage for 2022 during the first week of the open enrollment period.
Residents have through Wednesday, Dec. 15, to visit the online insurance marketplace.
Due to changes in federal law, up to 77 percent of Clallam County customer have lower cost insurance options this year, according to press release from Washington Healthplanfinder.
