MSP arrests drunk driver involved in single-car crash Thursday

Jul. 26--WHEATLAND TOWNSHIP -- The Michigan State Police Jackson Post/Jonesville Detachment arrested a Morenci man Thursday who crashed his vehicle while driving intoxicated.
The man was identified as 61-year-old Randy Dean Gilson and troopers indicated the man has previous convictions for operating while intoxicated.
Gilson was also charged with driving while license suspended -- second offense and he did not have insurance on his vehicle.
Gilson is tentatively scheduled for arraignment in 2B District Court at 1 p.m. Friday, July 26.
