Mirek Wieczorek Named Senior Vice President, Head of Reinsurance for ICW Group Insurance Companies

ICW Group Insurance Companies, a leading group of property and casualty carriers, has promoted Mirek Wieczorek to Senior Vice President, Head of Reinsurance, charged with leading the growth strategy for ICW Re.

As a part of ICW Group's vision to become a top-tier, multi-line carrier, Wieczorek joined ICW Group nearly four years ago to help build the Assumed Reinsurance business for the company and establish ICW Group in the reinsurance marketplace. Since joining the team, Wieczorek has been instrumental in leading its exceptional and rapid growth. Assumed Reinsurance now represents a significant segment of ICW Group's total portfolio.

Wieczorek has more than 30 years of leadership experience in the reinsurance industry. Before joining ICW Group, he was executive vice president and head of underwriting at Tokio Millennium Re's (TMR) operations in the US. Before that, he held various senior underwriting positions in Bermuda and the US.
