MILWAUKEE (AP) — MILWAUKEE (AP) — MGIC Investment Corp. (MTG) on Tuesday reported third-quarter net income of $182.8 million.
On a per-share basis, the Milwaukee-based company said it had net income of 64 cents.
The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 57 cents per share.
The mortgage insurance company posted revenue of $296.5 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $297.2 million.
