METLIFE INC FILES (8-K/A) Disclosing Change in Directors or Principal Officers

Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors;

Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain

Officers.

On June 10, 2022, the Board of Directors (the "Board") of MetLife, Inc. (the
"Company") appointed Carla Harris to its Governance and Corporate Responsibility
Committee and Investment Committee, effective immediately.

On April 4, 2022, the Company filed a Current Report on Form 8-K (the "Original
Report") disclosing that the Board elected Ms. Harris a director of the Company,
effective April 27, 2022. Committee assignments for Ms. Harris were not
determined as of the filing of the Original Report. This Current Report on Form
8-K/A amends the Original Report solely for the purpose of disclosing the
information above.
