Marshall Fire victims invited to insurance meeting [Daily Camera, Boulder, Colo.]
Daily Camera (Boulder, CO)
Oct. 19—The Colorado Division of Insurance is inviting Marshall Fire victims to attend a Homeowners' Insurance Stakeholder meeting Friday.
The virtual meeting, at 10 a.m. Friday, will help the division complete studies on homeowners' insurance as directed by the Legislature this year. The studies can focus on the insurance's availability, the stability of the market and the issue of underinsurance.
The division also wants to hear from stakeholders regarding the study topics. Anyone who has been impacted by issues with homeowners' insurance, not just victims of the Marshall Fire or other wildfires, should consider attending, as should community and consumer advocacy groups and insurance professionals.
Participants must register to attend the Zoom meeting at bit.ly/3TdEEyC. More information is available by calling 303-894-7490 or by emailing [email protected].
