Marsh & McLennan Agency CEO David Eslick Named Chairman of The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Insurance Weekly News -- Marsh, a global leader in insurance broking and innovative risk management solutions, today announced that David Eslick, chairman and CEO of its subsidiary Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC (MMA), was elected as the 2018 Chairman of The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers (The Council).

Founded in 1913, The Council is the premier association for the top regional, national, and international commercial insurance and employee benefits intermediaries worldwide. Mr. Eslick was elected during The Council's 104th annual Insurance Leadership Forum succeeding Robert L. Cohen, chairman and CEO of The IMA Financial Group, Inc.

Mr. Eslick joined Marsh in 2009 to establish and build MMA as a business unit dedicated to serving the property/casualty and employee benefit needs of the middle market. Over the last eight years, MMA has acquired more than 60 best-in-class agencies across the US and generates annualized revenue exceeding $1 billion.
