Marcus Rasberry Named Safety Professional of the Year
Rasberry, who is also a member of the Women in Safety Excellence and Blacks in Safety Excellence interest groups, was judged on a rigorous set of criteria that examined his activities during the past three to five years, including:
* Technical expertise in the field of safety
* Thorough knowledge of the operational aspects of his safety employment
* Personal achievements related to safety and health
* Professional contributions to advance the safety profession, such as fostering professional development, public/community service, educational institutions, involvement in codes and legislation, etc.
In addition to being recognized by the ASSP, Rasberry's supervisors at
