Mandy Hunt to Succeed Colin Bradbury as RSA’s Commercial Risk Solutions CUO

Targeted News Service (Press Releases)

LONDON, England, July 4 -- RSA Insurance Group issued the following news release:

Colin will be succeeded by Mandy Hunt, who is currently managing director of RSA's Jersey and Guernsey-based insurance business, the Insurance Corporation of the Channel Islands (ICCI).

They will begin a period of handover on 1st October 2018, when Mandy will take over as CUO with Colin supporting both her and the wider CRS leadership team until his retirement in July 2019. Mandy will also join the Commercial Risk Solutions executive team, within RSA's UK & International operation. The recruitment process for the next ICCI MD role is underway.

Colin joined RSA as an underwriting apprentice in Southampton in 1977 and moved to its London operation in 1983 where he has held various underwriting roles ever since. Before being appointed CUO, he was commercial product director in RSA's UK underwriting and pricing team.

Mandy has worked at RSA for 20 years following eight years in broking. Before her appointment as Channel Islands MD in 2016, Mandy held liability and schemes portfolio lead roles in the South before taking up the post of Redhill regional manager.

Rob Gibbs, CRS managing director, said:

"Colin is a highly respected underwriter and leader within RSA and will be missed by his friends and colleagues when he retires next year. Recently, Colin has gone further in sharing his expertise directly with our broker partners, via a series of webinars covering regulatory issues. This is indicative of Colin's appetite to drive professional standards and collaboration within RSA and across the insurance industry. I'm pleased Colin is staying with us for another 12 months, which ensures a smooth transition following his retirement."

Rob added:

"After an extensive search, I am delighted Mandy will be joining the CRS executive team having accepted the position of CUO within CRS. Mandy has made a strong and positive impact at ICCI, leading the business to its recent accreditation as a chartered insurer. Having held various roles across the UK with RSA for the past 20 years, Mandy brings a wealth of experience to her new role."
