Lockton Adds Veteran Commercial Insurance Leader to Atlanta Operations

By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Insurance Weekly News -- Lockton Companies, the world's largest privately held, independent insurance broker, announced Andrew Carr has joined its Atlanta office as Commercial Insurance Team Leader. He will work with Lockton's clients to deliver complex property and casualty insurance programs, help drive strategic client and carrier initiatives, and mentor senior client service staff.
Carr joins Lockton with 39 years experience in the insurance industry, both in the United States and the United Kingdom. The bulk of his career has been devoted to the design and service of complex risk management programs. Most recently, Carr was Managing Principal in the Atlanta office of Integro Insurance Brokers. Prior to that, he was Managing Director for Marsh.
A native of Yorkshire, Carr began his insurance career at Sedgwick in the UK. He is active in community service, participating in triathlons and other endurance events to raise money for blood cancer research.

His proven track record of service will benefit our property and casualty insurance clients," said Manoj Sharma, Chief Operating Officer of Lockton's Southeast operations.
