Letter: Ed Hawk: The major killing in U.S. does not involve firearms

The NRA has only killed someone in the mind of Vicki Truskoski ("National Rifle Association to blame for gun deaths," letter Aug. 8) Gee, and all this time I thought it was supposed to be President Trump's fault!

A recent Johns Hopkins study claims more than 250,000 people in the U.S. die every year from medical errors, the third leading cause of death after heart disease and cancer. There were 630,000 abortions in the U.S. in 2015.

All these deaths and no firearms were used. I could go on, but I digress.
