Lagoa Santa couple convicted of fraud and pyramid scheme
Singer Izabela Cristy and her husband, David Barros, were sentenced to 7 years and 9 months in prison and 1 year and 9 months in detention, respectively. The information comes from the couple's own defense lawyer, Junior Pinheiro. They will also have to pay compensation of R $7.5 million for collective moral damages and another R $205,000 for material damages.
